Taen and the Sanctuary

Everyone hates Taen (Tay-en), and he has no idea why.  First he wakes up and gets menaced by a guy on a weird train, then he's got this kind of evil voice in his head, and then once he opens a door like he was asked to, everyone's looking at him like he's some kind of toxic waste.  
Follow Taen as he does his best to right wrongs or at least apologize, and complete the task set out for him, of saving these people who do not want to be saved.
What the fuck is going on? Who WAS Taen? Who does the voice in his head belong to? What does everyone need saving from? Who was that dude on the train? All these people seem to hate him, so why does he feel like they ought to be... friends?

This is an UNFINISHED webcomic I created in 2017-2018, originally hosted on Tapastic. 59 pages, limited palette + b/w (though 22 of them are lettered sketches), and some bonus art! Someday it would be fun to get back in here, but I think it would come out as a visual novel rather than a comic, who knows.
